Our Solar Panel Installation Process

Our proven process involves these simple steps, and we handle everything from start to finish.

Going Solar is easy!

Our proven process makes going solar simple. We take care of the paperwork, system design, permits, utility interconnection, and everything in between.

Free Site Evaluation

Our process begins with a free, no-obligation site evaluation which we can conduct virtually or in person. During the assessment, we utilize satellite images and software to map your home’s roof. We then provide you with a custom proposal based on your home’s roof, energy usage, and shade analysis. The shade analysis is a 3D model of your home and surrounding trees, which provides us with the information we need to design your solar system.

Financing & Permitting

There are different ways to pay for a solar system. After you sign the contract, we’ll help you navigate the options and offer zero-down financing to qualified customers.

We’ll also handle all permitting and paperwork with the city. Once approved, we will contact you to schedule your install.

Installation

Time for your roof to get an upgrade! The average installation takes 1-2 days. Due to the nature of inspections, there may be a 5-10 day span between when we start and finish this part of the process.

Once your system is installed, inspected, and approved, we contact your utility and request a new meter install. This process can take up to 3-6 weeks, depending on how busy your utility company is.

After all that, we come back and flip the switch. The power is on!
